The Canada-B.C. Job Grant (CJG) is an employer-driven, cost-sharing program that helps employers invest in training for their current or future employees. The CJG assists eligible employers to offset the cost of training up to a maximum of $10,000- $15,000 per participant per fiscal year.

Tech firms hiring co-ops for any roles and non-tech companies hiring for tech-specific roles are encouraged to apply for salary support through the program.

Get Youth Working! Program

The Get Youth Working! Program off erseligible employers in specified regions a wage subsidy as an incentive to hire eligible youth age 15 to 29.

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) Career Focus Program

The program helps to fund 65 agricultural internships for Canadian graduates. Each internship will last at least four months to a maximum of 12 months. 

Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) - Youth Employment

The NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) provides small and medium-sized enterprises with financial assistance to hire young talent. 

Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities

Through funding for organizations, the Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities (OF) program helps people with disabilities prepare for, obtain and maintain employment or self-employment.

Wage Subsidy Program

Through multiple wage subsidy programs, Bio Talent Canada helps mitigate perceived risk to biotechnology companies hiring in environmental and bio-sciences. 

ITAC Talent

Wage Subsidy Program

Provides up to 50% of a work term student’s pay in wage subsidies to employers. Employers that hire students from underrepresented groups may also qualify for additional funding.

Clean Foundation

Wage Subsidy Program

The program provides a wage subsidy of 50% (to a maximum of $15,000) to help employers anywhere in Canada hire the talent they need and help increase the supply of highly qualified professionals in the environmental sector.

This program is designed to support hiring organizations by offering a wage subsidy for eligible interns. 

Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC)

Housing Internship Initiative for First Nations and Inuit Youth (HIIFNIY)

CMHC will provide wage subsidies to Indigenous organizations and businesses who hire First Nations and Inuit Youth in the housing sector.
