Co-op Programs supply employers with emerging talent, while empowering students to integrate paid, relevant work experience with their academic programs.

A youth employment initiative providing work experience and on-the-job training for First Nations and Inuit Youth.

Government of Canada

Provides a variety of Work Experience Programs and Co-Op Programs.

Mitacs Career Connect provides meaningful work experience for young graduates while helping companies find the talent they need to grow their business.

Mining Industry Human Resources Council

This program is designed to support hiring organizations by offering a wage subsidy for eligible interns.

College and Institutes Canada

Provides a variety of Internship programs for clean tech and natural resource sectors.

Clean Foundation

The program provides a wage subsidy of 50% (to a maximum of $15,000) to help employers anywhere in Canada hire the talent they need and help increase the supply of highly qualified professionals in the environmental sector.

ITAC Talent

Provides up to 50% (to a maximum of $5,000) of a work term student’s pay in wage subsidies to employers. Employers that hire students from underrepresented groups including women in STEM, indigenous students, recent immigrants, persons with disabilities, and first-year students may also qualify for additional funding (up to 70% or $7,000).

Bio Talent Canada

A wage subsidy initiative to help recent graduates in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) acquire work experience in STEM positions with an environmental focus.
